About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform complex financial analysis, financial modeling, and transaction due diligence supporting underwriting, execution, and idea generation for capital markets financing solutions
- Support underwriting, execution, and portfolio management across loan, investment grade bond, and high yield bond products
- Build detailed financial models to analyze performance and credit trends and structure financing for acquisitions and dividend recaps
- Perform transaction due diligence, credit research, comparable debt and ratings analysis, and assess capital structure alternatives
- Prepare presentation materials for client meetings and internal deal approvals
- Manage multiple competing priorities and high-priority opportunities under senior banker oversight
- Gain familiarity with legal documentation for leveraged and investment grade transactions
- Prepare and distribute market commentary, economic updates, and pricing information
- Communicate deal status and project prioritization to team members
- Develop relationships with peers, senior Capital Markets members, other bank divisions, and credit partners
- Gain exposure to capital market solutions and their application to client situations and market conditions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with a strong financial or business background
- Minimum 3.3 GPA
- Class of 2027
- Undergraduate financial and managerial accounting coursework required
- Strong analytical skills and interest in financial analysis, corporate finance, and financial markets
- Strong presentation and organization skills
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses required within 6 months of employment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information
- Ability to excel in team and self-directing settings
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Capital IQ, S&P Leveraged Commentary, and Microsoft Office
- Must successfully complete training program
