About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of more complex, and typically larger stressed banking relationships.
- Review updated financial statements and proactive monitoring.
- Underwriting and preparing approval memos for renewals, changes in terms, and forbearance agreements.
- Monitor the current status of loan payments, past dues, loan collateral monitoring, and inspections.
- Assist Workout Officers in coordinating files for high risk banking relationships.
- Prepare documentation for processing loans, reviewing loan status, and recommending actions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 6 years of credit analysis and/or Loan Review experience in the banking industry or relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional presence.
- Able to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, bank group members, and internal bank partners.
- Expertise in financial and risk analysis, and effective problem solving
- Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with the bank's internal applications is a plus.
