Community Impact Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for managing assigned region assessment area risk associated with Community Reinvestment Act performance
- Provide local expertise and effectively communicate with region senior management team and other key stakeholders
- Lead the implementation of Bancorp's Community Reinvestment Act and Community and Economic Develop strategies
- Assess community needs and execute on the banks strategy to build strong communities ensuring alignment with development vision
- Develop relationships with key community partners and nonprofit organizations
- Develop and maintain a strong network of community development stakeholders
- Lead partnership opportunities between Fifth Third Bank employees and community-based organizations
- Lead community development related activities as a visible representative of Fifth Third Bank
- Manage the regional charitable contributions budget
- Complete compliance training requirements
- Understand and promote the use of community development/reinvestment programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years' experience in implementing/managing Community Reinvestment Act/community development related strategies
- Bachelor's Degree required
- In depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to the Community Reinvestment Act
- Large bank experience with Community Reinvestment Act related consumer products and services, small business banking and/or community development lending preferred
- Ability to analyze Community Reinvestment Act performance and market data
- Strong project management skills required
- Effective written and oral communication skills required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint required
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team,
- Ability to analyze and interpret information to drive CRA performance
- Ability to execute and lead implementation of community and economic development strategies across various lines of business
- Prior regulatory experience is preferred
