About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and define systems and business line needs and requirements
  • Coordinates development and support for new and existing applications and products
  • Primary liaison between line of business, software vendor and information technology
  • Develop a solid knowledge base of the business line, including the business plan, products, processes and revenue streams
  • Coordinates business requirements definition, development, system configuration, testing, defect identification and resolution, implementation and support for new and existing systems
  • Identifies, researches and analyzes production problems, develops solutions and coordinates resolutions
  • Oversees enhancements and projects to maintain productivity and efficiency
  • Accountable for risk management by following policies and procedures
  • Serves as a liaison between IT, software vendors and the business line to analyze business and user needs, document requirements and resolve moderately complex system problems
  • Guides and trains less experienced analysts through project work
  • Plays a key role in planning, testing and implementation of new products, system enhancements and conversions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum four (4) years work experience in banking, financial services or related experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of project management experience
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP preferred
  • Proven Leadership experience in areas of Operations, Manufacturing or Quality
  • Possesses a broad understanding of business systems and industry requirements
  • Ability to present to senior leadership on sensitive subject matters
  • Ability to facilitate large groups toward the development of common solutions
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment
  • Proficient in Windows based software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
