About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Senior Underwriters in underwriting and executing loans for clients
- Perform detailed due diligence on companies, industries, and management teams
- Build detailed financial projection models to analyze credit metrics
- Prepare succinct underwriting memorandums
- Establish strong working partnerships with key internal partners
- Manage multiple transactions/projects
- Review and offer feedback to Underwriting Senior Analysts and Analysts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting, credit, or originations in the corporate banking industry
- Demonstrate solid credit agreement and underwriting skills
- Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical capability, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
