About the role

- Ensure high standards of practice and effective risk management.
- Provide regular supervision, guidance, and leadership to support staff.
- Manage workloads safely and deploy resources effectively to meet service demand.
- Identify workforce development needs and support continuous professional development.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must hold SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 9, Management SVQ Care Services Leadership and Management SCQF Level 10 or equivalent.
- Experience of supervising, supporting and developing staff, including effective workload management and performance conversations.
- Ability to assess and manage risk, make defensible decisions and provide clear professional oversight of complex casework.
- Ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care that meets individual needs and complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and the National Care Standards.
- A full driving licence and the ability to travel across Fife as required.
- Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
- As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.
