Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strong professional and operational leadership in Care at Home Services.
Lead the delivery of strategic and statutory priorities at locality level.
Ensure high standards of practice and effective risk management.
Provide regular supervision, guidance, and leadership to support staff.
Manage workloads safely and deploy resources effectively to meet service demand.
Identify workforce development needs and support continuous professional development.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must hold SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 9, Management SVQ Care Services Leadership and Management SCQF Level 10 or equivalent.
Experience of supervising, supporting and developing staff, including effective workload management and performance conversations.
Ability to assess and manage risk, make defensible decisions and provide clear professional oversight of complex casework.
Ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care that meets individual needs and complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and the National Care Standards.
A full driving licence and the ability to travel across Fife as required.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.
