About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain governance frameworks and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Lead the Fund’s risk management approach, including risk registers and horizon scanning.
- Provide clear reporting and insight to the Pensions Committee and Board.
- Support training and development for Committee and Board members.
- Oversee policies, strategies and governance documentation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in governance, risk or compliance in a regulated environment.
- Understanding of pensions or LGPS frameworks.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- The ability to communicate clearly and influence others.
- Experience developing policies or governance frameworks.
- The ability to lead or influence work across teams.
- A relevant qualification in governance, risk, finance or law would be an advantage.
