About the role
- Support Client Managers and project teams to keep work moving forward and clients informed
- Coordinate with internal teams, manage communication, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and with quality
- Define scope of work (project brief) and communicate client standards
- Overall project quality control and project file and folder preparation
- Project architecture and engineering coordination and communication of client redlines to team
- Assist in preparation and execution of consultant contracts
- Responsible for communication with vendors and contractors
- Manage quick turn client projects and assist in checking with vendors on status
- Mentor project teams/drafters on client standards and means and methods
- Consistently provide complete and timely communication of project information to and from clients and project team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or engineering preferred
- 8+ years minimum of progressive experience in the construction industry with proven organizational skills
- Knowledge of design, design trends, construction methodology, material applications, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness
- Knowledge of architectural building systems
- Knowledge of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control policies and process
- Knowledge of building codes and the ability to research and apply/incorporate that knowledge into technical documents
- Advanced design, visual, and graphic presentation skills
- Advanced CAD drafting skills
- Proficiency in Revit preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
