About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Engineering throughout the development of new hardware, firmware, software, and connected products.
  • Develop verification and validation strategies that ensure products meet customer, performance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and execute test plans that validate functionality, reliability, usability, and safety.
  • Build and evaluate prototypes while identifying opportunities to improve product quality before launch.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance throughout product development.
  • Investigate failures, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with global manufacturing partners to support successful product launches.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or another STEM-related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Design Quality, Design Assurance, Verification & Validation (V&V), or New Product Development Quality for complex electro-mechanical products
  • Experience supporting products that combine hardware, firmware, and software throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Experience developing and executing verification and validation plans, test protocols, and design verification activities
  • Strong understanding of design controls, risk management, root cause analysis, and quality engineering principles
  • Experience with DFMEA, Design for Reliability (DfR), or statistical quality tools
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Software, Manufacturing, and Product Management
  • Experience working with global manufacturing partners, ODMs, or OEMs
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence teams and drive quality throughout product development.
