About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the Renewal Motion: Manage full renewal lifecycle, maintain renewal forecast, develop data-driven renewal strategy, lead commercial negotiations, drive price increases, work closely with CSEs
  • Build the Renewals Function: Build renewals playbook, own KPI framework for renewals, design engagement models, partner with Finance, implement AI-assisted workflows, hire and develop a team of Renewals Specialists
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Represent renewal risk in deal reviews, partner with CSMs, work with Product, Finance, and Legal

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years in SaaS renewals, customer success, or commercial account management
  • Built a renewals function or motion from scratch
  • Strong commercial negotiator, comfortable leading high-stakes conversations
  • Analytically fluent: ability to build a renewal forecast and present cohort-level retention performance
  • CRM-proficient; HubSpot strongly preferred, Salesforce acceptable
  • Effective cross-functional operator
  • Ready to manage a small team; prior people management experience preferred but not required
