About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Onboard new participants into workplace plans by educating them on company matching, savings, and investment strategy fundamentals
  • Support consolidation inquiries by identifying prior workplace plans and outside investments and offering suitable solutions
  • Engage Tax Exempt Market retirement plan participants in needs-based analyses
  • Use guidance offerings and appropriate tools to assist customers with retirement readiness
  • Apply consultative selling skills to identify suitable solutions and guidance while acquiring, retaining, and developing assets
  • Explain Fidelity Viewpoints to provide general education to clients
  • Identify opportunities for complex guidance and partner with other Retirement Planner associates
  • Create awareness of retirement readiness and influence customers to improve their retirement situations
  • Increase cash flow through increased deferrals and drive Personal & Workplace Investment flows

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Series 7 license required
  • Series 63 license required
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service or sales role preferred
  • Knowledge of tax-exempt retirement products and services highly desirable
  • Previous phone center experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer results
  • Comprehensive understanding of the current market, economy, and economic trends
  • Consultative, influencing, and communication skills
  • Ability to be proactive and demonstrate initiative
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to adapt to change
  • Must currently live within 90 miles of the Orlando, FL area
  • Must satisfy applicable securities and financial-services regulatory requirements
