About the role
- Marketing liaison for legislative and regulatory communications
- Support legislative and regulatory communications and work closely with product, government affairs, legal, compliance, WI communications, Fidelity Workplace Consulting, thought leadership, relationship management and other stakeholders to develop internal and external campaigns that align Fidelity messaging on complex topics.
- Support regulatory mailings (email and print), eReview, and channel management (website, Seismic) of legislative and regulatory resources.
- Understand that speed to market is a competitive differentiator for legislative and regulatory and the need to provide timely communications is critical.
- Monitor the competitive market for legislative and regulatory communications and updates.
- Assist with deploying content on multi-channel campaigns including mailings, websites, social, internal talking points, and newsletters.
- Understand how research, data and analytics are used to shape strategy and define messaging and omni-channel approach.
- Understand B2B2C customer relationships and how we serve each audience.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of marketing experience, ideally within financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a growth mindset and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- A strong understanding of the critical role that timely and accurate legislative and regulatory communications play for advisors, clients, and Fidelity.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines - many of which may be influenced by regulatory requirements - and to adapt quickly to shifting timelines driven by legislative or regulatory changes.
- Strong writing, editing, power point design, and project management skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
- A strong attention to detail and the flexibility to manage multiple rounds of revisions as legislation and business needs evolve.
- Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and resources throughout Fidelity WI to move projects forward.
