About the role
- Provide advice to clients regarding their benefit programs with an initial emphasis in defined benefit plans
- Develop financial, business, and consultative skills
- Focus on annual pension actuarial valuations to determine cash and accounting requirements
- Support merger and acquisition transactions as they impact corporate benefit programs
- Assist clients optimally manage their employee benefits programs from a financial, compliance, and communications perspective
- Design custom micro sites for a wide range of corporate compensation and benefits needs
Requirements
- Mathematics, Actuarial Science or quantitative subject major preferred
- Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, along with analytical and problem-solving skills
- A high aptitude to learn new things quickly and adapt to new situations while being inventive and prioritizing responsibilities
- Demonstrated commitment to the actuarial career path via a passing score on at least one Society of Actuaries examination
