About the role
- Develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve record keeping applications
- Accountable for all the deliveries of the engineering team
- Participate in application-level architecture
- Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Fidelity
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering
- 2+ years of cloud experience
- Proven hands-on experience in software development using Java, Tomcat, Spring Boot
- Design and develop Java-based APIs and event-driven applications
- Extensive experience with Service Oriented Architecture REST APIs
- 3 years of hands-on experience building large scale applications
- Strong knowledge in application development with micro architectures, Docker containers
- Knowledge of end-to-end DevSecOps automation
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle database and PL-SQL, DynamoDB
- Experience working with event-driven microservice architecture
- Certifications in AWS Cloud technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
