About the role

  • Ready to contribute significantly at Fidelity Insurance Agency?
  • As a Business Analyst Consultant, you'll help lead Fidelity's Annuity and Insurance business.
  • Collaborate with Fidelity Insurance Agency (FIA) Commercialization, Product Managers, and the Go to Market team to develop top-notch FIA solutions for advisors, customers, and Fidelity Insurance Network (FIN) Carriers.
  • Crafting and communicating strategic and critical product initiatives targeted at advancing and broadening Fidelity’s Annuity and Insurance business.
  • Working closely with FIA Commercialization to develop business cases, visualize user experience journeys, and establish product and business needs.
  • Gathering and recording documenting product and business needs requirements and collaborating with Delivery team leaders and members to grasp essential outputs.
  • Sharing demographic and product data, along with market knowledge, help Delivery teams prioritize and develop digital experiences.
  • Working with Wealth Platform and Experience Squad Leaders, Business Analysts, and IT associates on developing, testing, and launching new and improved products and digital experiences.
  • Collaborating with CKSI and User Experience on strategic/competitive/market research and analysis, drafting learning agendas and usability studies.
  • Working with Distribution, Service, and Ops teams on field readiness activities to support product launches both digital and advisor led.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience in project management and business analysis
  • Experience with annuity and insurance products is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with the FIA business and its annuities, life insurance, and long term care, is a plus.
  • Proficient understanding and prior experience with Fidelity’s Product Frameworks: Product Approach, Product Strategy, and Product Development and Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining and documenting requirements, testing and learning, iterating on, and delivering top-tier solutions across the product lifecycle.
  • Highly proficient in requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and business acceptance testing exercises.
  • Strong influence and negotiation skills to prioritize work in dependent teams' backlogs.
  • Exceptional strategic problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a passion for defining outstanding customer and associate experiences.
  • Outstanding ability to build positive relationships with cross-functional teams, squads, vendors, and leadership teams.
  • Proven time management, organizational, and documentation skills; able to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent listening, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Miro, and PowerPoint.
