About the role
- Lead our Data Oversight Committee, ensuring responsible and secure data usage across the enterprise.
- Lead all aspects of data usage reviews, access gatekeeping, and governance of experimentation environments.
- Develop a culture of data accountability and transparency, enabling faster, safer decision-making.
- Define and implement a forward-looking data governance strategy aligned with business priorities.
- Establish policies for data access, retention, privacy, and protection.
- Oversee data usage reviews and the intake of data use cases, ensuring compliance and scalability.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams including Legal, Risk, Compliance, and others to deliver oversight.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of proven experience in data governance, data management, or related fields.
- Strong leadership abilities in enterprise data strategy, policy development, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and data lifecycle management.
- Proven experience with modern data governance platforms and tools.
- Relevant industry certifications and experience in financial services or brokerage are highly valued.
- Fidelity knowledge is a strong plus.
