About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and oversee exceptional end-to-end in-person, digital, and hybrid event experiences
  • Manage digital program setup, invitations, registrations, on-site technology, ticketing, client relationship management, and post-event activities
  • Deliver event programs aligned with annual business plans and deepen client relationships
  • Manage events at U.S. and Canadian venues and in digital environments; attend in-person events to ensure successful delivery
  • Provide post-event analytics and manage event budgets and reporting for ROI analysis and regulatory compliance
  • Manage vendor relationships, pricing, budgets, expense reporting, attendance tracking, and target metrics
  • Identify automation and cost-effective digital solutions to streamline reporting and improve the client experience
  • Create workback schedules, action plans, master agendas, and event programs across technology platforms
  • Develop testing plans, perform testing and quality assurance, and coordinate documented approvals
  • Coordinate event production, technology, risk management, compliance, corporate security, and contingency planning
  • Coordinate speaker and investment-staff schedules and prepare travel details for corporate conferences
  • Manage portfolio manager and subject-matter-expert access for sales-supported events
  • Liaise with Sales, Product and Marketing, Information Systems, HR, Compliance, and Finance
  • Create documented event processes, research event trends, and map customer journeys
  • Research event technology and workflow requirements, onboard vendors, and administer digital and hybrid event platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum three years of event management experience in a corporate environment, preferably within financial services
  • Strong understanding of digital engagement in event marketing
  • Bilingual in French and English (written and verbal) required
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and planning skills
  • Proven ability to manage both in-person and digital events
  • Vendor management and budgeting skills, including price negotiation, invoicing, and recordkeeping
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to meet deadlines
  • In-depth knowledge of digital event experiences and virtual event platforms such as CVENT and Zoom Events
  • Strong knowledge of CRM tools, including Adobe Marketo and Salesforce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Current authorization to work in Canada required
  • Occasional travel required (up to 30%)
