About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and deliver exceptional in-person, digital, and hybrid event experiences
  • Project manage end-to-end event delivery, including digital program setup, invitations, registration, onsite technology, ticketing, client relationship management, and post-event activities
  • Manage events at US and Canadian venues and in digital environments
  • Attend in-person events to ensure successful program delivery
  • Deliver post-event analytics
  • Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, pricing, expense reporting, attendance tracking, and ROI reporting
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and develop event-specific compliance knowledge
  • Identify automation and cost-effective digital solutions for event attendance, financial reporting, and client experience
  • Create project workback schedules, action plans, master agendas, and event schedules
  • Build and configure event programs in technology platforms
  • Create testing plans and perform testing and QA with documented sign-offs
  • Coordinate event materials, agendas, production, and technology with Marketing and Product teams
  • Administer digital and hybrid event technology platforms
  • Implement risk management, compliance, corporate security, and contingency planning
  • Coordinate portfolio manager, subject matter expert, speaker, and investment staff resources
  • Manage the PM access process for Sales teams
  • Liaise with Sales, Products and Marketing, IS, HRCA, Compliance, and Finance
  • Document event processes and research event trends and technologies
  • Map customer journeys and plan contingencies to reduce friction
  • Research requirements for event-related technology and workflows
  • Onboard vendors and manage QA sign-off

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of event management experience in a corporate environment required
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Experience using Cvent for event registration, communications, and reporting required
  • Deep understanding of digital engagement in event marketing
  • Exceptional organization, project management, and planning skills
  • Proven ability to manage in-person and digital events
  • Excellent vendor management and budgeting skills, including pricing negotiation, invoicing, and recordkeeping
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to meet deadlines in a team-based environment
  • Deep knowledge of digital event experiences and virtual events through streaming platforms such as Cvent and Zoom Events
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software, including Adobe Marketo and Salesforce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Current work authorization for Canada required
  • French/English bilingualism is an asset
