About the role

  • Lead Capital Markets vertical for the Mortgage and Capital Markets team.
  • Serve as primary liaison with modeling and research teams across dealers, rating agencies, and third-party modeling organizations.
  • Translate complex analytical concepts into actionable insights for both internal teams and external research partners.
  • Present technical findings and research outcomes to both technical and business audiences.
  • Collaborate with sales team on technical aspects of score research and analytics.
  • Provide technical expertise on score implementation, methodology, and performance characteristics to research stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze output from FICO's internal research initiatives and coordinate with client research desks on findings.
  • Maintain deep expertise in statistical modeling, credit risk analytics, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to enhance score performance and address emerging market needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Substantial experience in mortgage servicing partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances within financial services.
  • Proven track record of executive-level partnership development within the mortgage servicing ecosystem using a strategic, consultative approach.
  • Established C-level professional network spanning mortgage servicers, MSR investors, and servicing technology providers.
  • Exceptional ability to understand complex servicing partner business models, regulatory requirements, market positioning, and strategic objectives.
  • Outstanding executive presence with superior communication, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities.
  • Strategic thinking combined with tactical execution skills and proven ability to drive results in matrix organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of mortgage servicing landscape, including regulatory compliance (CFPB, state regulations), loss mitigation, and borrower management; familiarity with FICO products and credit scoring applications preferred.
  • Ability to travel 25% to 35% for partner meetings, industry conferences, and strategic planning sessions.
