About the role
- Lead the development and execution of B2B communications and media outreach strategies
- Serve as a primary media contact for business, financial services, fintech, and mortgage industry reporters
- Develop and oversee high-quality communications materials
- Shape lender-focused narratives around product innovation and industry research and insights
- Monitor media coverage, consumer sentiment, and industry trends to identify proactive storytelling opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- 7–10+ years of experience in communications, media relations, or public relations
- Strong emphasis on B2B communications
- Financial services, fintech, mortgage, banking, or other regulated-industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience using PR tools such as Muck Rack for media monitoring, outreach, and reporting
