Provides strategic leadership and technical expertise to FHI 360’s global Health Programs portfolio.
Establishes and continually refines MNCH and nutrition technical frameworks, approaches, and tools.
Leads evidence-based programming; ensures alignment with national and international health standards.
Develops, implements, and evaluates programs aimed at improving maternal, child health, and nutritional outcomes.
Works closely with FHI 360 global team, USG Department of State personnel, implementing partners, and Ministries of Health to ensure timely development of workplans and monitor all technical aspects of assigned MNCH and nutrition projects from initiation through delivery.
Contributes to global thought leadership, supervises technical staff, and ensures that all technical activities meet donor, government, and FHI 360 requirements.
Requirements
Master’s Degree or its International Equivalent in Communication and Social Marketing, Economic Development, Education, Health, Nutrition, Research, Technology and Youth or a Related Field.
A clinical background with public health training is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 12+ years of relevant technical/project management experience (including 8+ years of leadership, strong business acumen and/or line management experience).
Experience leading USG-funded MNCH and/or nutrition projects.
Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills in English, fluency in a second language an added advantage (e.g., French, Spanish, Portuguese).
