About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide program management oversight to a portfolio of 3 - 5 countries implementing both STRIDES and EpiC activities.
  • Serve as the main HQ point of contact on assigned country programs.
  • Supervise program staff in-country and be responsible for ensuring successful start-up, implementation and close-out in conjunction with in-country teams and other FHI 360 departments.
  • Lead project start-up, workplan and budget development in collaboration with technical and finance staff.
  • Liaise with project offices related to program management and execution; ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Health, Nutrition, International Development, Social Science or a Related Field.
  • Masters preferred.
  • Project Management (PM) Certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with project management principles and practices.
  • 2+ years of line management experience required.
  • Experience supervising senior level staff required.
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish required; fluency preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government agency, or private organization.
  • Prior experience starting up new programs internationally preferred.
  • Previous experience working on global health projects including USG and PEPFAR supported programs preferred.
