About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide program management oversight to a portfolio of 3 - 5 countries implementing both STRIDES and EpiC activities.
Serve as the main HQ point of contact on assigned country programs.
Supervise program staff in-country and be responsible for ensuring successful start-up, implementation and close-out in conjunction with in-country teams and other FHI 360 departments.
Lead project start-up, workplan and budget development in collaboration with technical and finance staff.
Liaise with project offices related to program management and execution; ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Health, Nutrition, International Development, Social Science or a Related Field.
Masters preferred.
Project Management (PM) Certification preferred.
8+ years of relevant experience with project management principles and practices.
2+ years of line management experience required.
Experience supervising senior level staff required.
Professional proficiency in Spanish required; fluency preferred.
Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government agency, or private organization.
Prior experience starting up new programs internationally preferred.
Previous experience working on global health projects including USG and PEPFAR supported programs preferred.
