💰 $62,000 - $70,000 per year
About the role
- Provides basic technical support and guidance to staff and partners in the region and in country offices
- Drafts the technical portions of proposals and project design; implements and monitors technical strengthening initiatives
- Develops adoption/training strategy and conducts training for specific technical areas; creates scientific/technical material
- Evaluates programmatic effectiveness, provides technical assessment reports, and supports project operations (manuals, proposals, budget tracking)
- Assists with work planning, quality control, data analysis, reporting, and client/funder support
- Provides administrative and logistic support for research, training, events and other activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in relevant fields (Civil Society, Communication and Social Marketing, Economic Development, Education, Environment, Gender, Health, Nutrition, Research, Technology, Youth or Related Field)
- Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience managing data collection and technical assistance experience
- Prior work experience in an NGO, government agency, or private company
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
- Proficiency with database management software and on-line search tools
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and prepare reports
- Ability to solve problems and implement corrective action as needed
