Senior Underwriter – Liability

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and underwrite General Liability (GL) risks
- Structure insurance solutions for corporate risks and complex operations
- Assess technical exposures, limits, deductibles, policy wording and contractual terms and conditions
- Lead technical and commercial negotiations with brokers
- Prepare technical underwriting opinions and reports
- Participate in commercial meetings, roadshows and technical site visits
- Develop relationships with brokers and support portfolio growth strategies
- Work in alignment with reinsurers and internal departments
- Monitor loss ratios, profitability and overall portfolio performance indicators
- Support cross-sell initiatives and new business development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience underwriting General Liability
- Strong analytical skills and sound risk judgment
- Technical-commercial profile with negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized, with critical thinking and autonomy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Intermediate to advanced English is desirable
