About the role
- Develop and articulate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the company’s business goals. Define and prioritize features, initiatives, and investments based on market analysis, customer insights, and business objectives.
- Own the payments roadmap across multiple processors and payment methods, including BNPL. Drive initiatives to reduce transaction costs, expand payment options, and improve checkout conversion. Manage payment vendor relationships and evaluate new partnership opportunities.
- Lead the product strategy for FEVO’s social selling and rewards ecosystem, including referral programs, fan incentives, leaderboards, and group purchasing features. Define the framework for measuring social lift and ROI, and present results to leadership and board.
- Own the strategy for scaling FEVO’s commerce footprint beyond owned properties through embeddable widgets and partner integrations. Drive the product from early-stage concept to production-ready infrastructure.
- Own the product strategy for cookie consent and marketing consent across FEVO’s embedded checkout environments. Navigate the unique privacy challenges of operating within third-party iframes. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (CPRA, GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
- Define the measurement strategy that proves FEVO’s value to clients. Own the analytics instrumentation roadmap, BI dashboard strategy, and client-facing reporting. Drive adoption of server-side tracking to address browser-level privacy changes.
- Evaluate and manage product integrations with external platforms for merchandise fulfillment, SMS commerce, and other channel expansion opportunities. Own business case development and scope definition for each partnership.
- Use AI coding tools and LLMs to accelerate product development. Build functional prototypes, proof-of-concept applications, and internal tools without waiting on engineering capacity. Set the standard for how the product team leverages AI to move faster across research, specification, and validation.
- Collaborate closely with design and UX teams to ensure products deliver exceptional user experiences. Lead usability research programs to validate design decisions and inform product direction.
- Serve as the primary product partner for engineering, design, and business teams. Communicate roadmap, priorities, and tradeoffs to internal stakeholders and external partners including major league and venue clients.
- Define and track key product metrics. Analyze performance data to identify optimization opportunities and inform investment decisions.
- Own product documentation including feature specifications, architecture decisions, compliance positions, and integration guides.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or design-related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in product management at a SaaS or fintech company, with a significant portion of that time spent in senior or leadership roles.
- Deep Product Management Foundation: A strong understanding of the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to development, launch, and iteration, including multi-phase rollouts.
- Payments Expertise: Deep familiarity with payment processing, checkout optimization, and payment gateway integrations. Understanding of interchange fee structures, Level 2/Level 3 data, and the BNPL landscape.
- Consent and Privacy: Experience with consent management platforms and privacy regulations (CPRA/CCPA, GDPR, IAB TCF/GPP/USP).
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in defining, launching, and scaling successful products, ideally with quantifiable results.
- Technical Fluency: Ability to write developer-ready specifications and work directly with engineering on technical tradeoffs. Comfortable navigating instrumentation, debugging, and browser-level technical details.
- AI and Tooling: Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to build prototypes, automate workflows, and accelerate product development. Ability to build prototype-ready code independently.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals.
- Market and Customer Acumen: A deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working effectively with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams.
- Communication and Influencing Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including executive leadership and external partners, and build consensus.
- Experience with sports brands, live events, ticketing platforms, e-commerce, Ticketmaster, Tickets.com, or Paciolan.
- Social referral, creator economy, or rewards/loyalty product experience.
