About the role
- Plan and execute marketing events from inception to completion, ensuring they align with brand and marketing strategies and defined revenue, pipeline, and engagement goals with clear objectives established and tracked for each event.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to define event objectives and target audiences including pre-event outreach strategies, attendee targeting, clear activations plans for business development and account executive teams, and proactive communication ahead of each event.
- Manage event budgets and timelines, ensuring costs are kept within approved limits and schedules are adhered to while tracking cost per lead and overall event performance against goals.
- Coordinate logistics for events including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and transportation arrangements following standardized processes and playbooks to ensure consistent execution and efficiency.
- Develop promotional materials and marketing strategies to maximize event attendance and engagement including email campaigns, nurture sequences and cross-channel communications tied to event goals.
- Occasional travel for on-site management during tradeshows or other events to oversee operations, troubleshooting any issues that arise and partnering closely with Sales teams onsite to support lead capture and relationship building.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess outcomes, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement including timely updates in Salesforce and Hubspot, performance reporting on leads and engagement, and clear recaps with learnings and next steps.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning or marketing coordination, with a strong portfolio of successful events.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with vendors, clients, and team members.
- Proficiency in using marketing tools such as Hubspot Marketing Hub.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative event concepts and solutions.
