About the role

  • Analysis and evaluation of requirements and specifications of embedded software and I/O-Link technologies for Fluid-Sensors and Position Sensors
  • Creation and implementation of test cases based on acceptance and quality criteria
  • Processing and management of test cases in the ALM system Codebeamer
  • Statistical evaluation of test results to optimize and reduce the cost of future projects
  • Supporting test management with test planning
  • Collaboration in an interdisciplinary, international and agile team

Requirements

  • Completed or in process studies in the field of Software engineering, Electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of professional experience in a testing or laboratory environment, ideally in the field of embedded software and industrial communication
  • Good knowledge of software testing
  • Hands-on experience with Python
  • Experience in development methods classic (V-model) as well as agile (e.g. SCRUM)
  • Good knowledge of Codebeamer or a comparable ALM tool
  • Good written and spoken English skills (at least B2)
  • Structured and abstract thinking as well as independence and ability to work in a team
