About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Fervo Energy's asset management function
- Set strategic direction and own execution across all three AM pillars
- Manage, develop, and hold accountable a team of senior managers, analysts, and specialists
- Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, clear priorities, and direct feedback
- Represent Asset Management at the ELT level, in board materials, and in external partner-facing settings
- Establish and own the AM function's operating rhythms
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of progressive experience in complex commercial, program management, or operational leadership roles.
- Proven track record building and leading high-performing teams in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership, contract management, or revenue operations experience.
- Energy sector experience (renewable energy, power generation, nuclear, or adjacent) preferred; exceptional candidates from other complex industries will be considered.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
