Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for designing Fervo’s innovative power plants
Help drive the facilities team toward a manufacturing mindset, optimizing each power plant for cost and cycle time
Own specification generation, design, and analysis of electrical power systems for power generation
Drive first-principles tradeoff analysis across power delivery systems to optimize plant performance
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to educate stakeholders and ensure electrical system priorities support project goals

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
8+ years of experience in electrical engineering in large capital projects
Proven track record leading and developing high-performing engineering teams
Deep expertise in power delivery & systems, transmission, distribution, and substations
Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to translate technical complexity into clear decisions
