About the role
- Lead all aspects of Fervo’s AP function
- Own the end-to-end accounts payable function
- Establish and enforce scalable AP processes, policies, and controls
- Lead AP-related month-end close activities
- Facilitate vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and regulatory requirements
- Build, lead, and develop the AP team
Requirements
- 12–15+ years of progressive experience across accounts payable and broader accounting functions
- Demonstrated experience building or restructuring AP functions
- Strong command of month-end close integration
- Proven ability to lead teams with accountability
- Deep understanding of AP controls, vendor management, and payment processes
- Experience partnering cross-functionally (Accounting, FP&A, Operations)
