About the role
- Contribute to the analysis and development of internal processes, policies and governance frameworks related to sustainability
- Support sustainability reporting at corporate and product level with a focus on SFDR regulation (in cooperation with FERI Luxembourg)
- Monitor regulatory developments and market trends in sustainable finance and derive and coordinate required actions
- Document ESG processes and support internal and external audits
- Support the development of sustainable financial products (market and competitor analyses, presentations, conceptual contributions)
- Participate in internal and external exchange formats on topics such as sustainability, biodiversity and transformation
- Prepare and deliver trainings and support internal communications on sustainability topics
- Support RFP and DDQ processes in the ESG and impact area
- Contribute to responding to the annual UN PRI questionnaire and coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Work closely with Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), the asset management company, the Project Management Office and Portfolio Management
Requirements
- Degree in economics, law or social sciences with a focus on financial markets and/or sustainability
- Solid basic understanding of European sustainable finance regulation (e.g., SFDR, EU Taxonomy, CSRD/ESRS, MiFID II)
- Initial practical experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, consulting, compliance or sustainable finance
- Analytical thinking, a structured working style and the ability to present regulatory requirements clearly
- Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ESG databases or reporting tools is an advantage
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
