About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the CMDB Owner and Subject Matter Expert
- Act as the primary point of contact for CMDB-related initiatives
- Provide proactive and transparent communication on CMDB initiatives
- Lead CMDB governance efforts, ensuring data integrity and usability
- Design, implement, and maintain automated CMDB discovery processes
- Drive CMDB maturity by identifying data quality gaps
- Collaborate with technical teams to establish accurate service relationships
- Develop and support ITSM applications and integrations
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to CMDB and related technologies
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and governance frameworks
- Deliver training and mentorship to technical teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of hands-on CMDB administration and governance experience
- expertise in CMDB architecture, data modeling, CI relationships and service mapping
- solid experience with Device42 discovery and data reconciliation
- experience integrating and maintaining CMDB data across ServiceNow and other platforms
- understanding of ITIL processes related to configuration management
- experience designing CMDB integrations and automation solutions
- proficiency with Microsoft Office products and technical documentation tools
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
