About the role
- Ensuring that sustainability-related data is reliable and ready for audit.
- Implement Greenhouse Gas Accounting processes for calculation of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
- Improve controls and processes related to data collection, processing and reporting through documentation and automation.
- Manage relationships with vendor partners for data management software solutions.
- Engage sustainability raters and rankers to maintain competitive scores (e.g. CDP, ISS, Sustainalytics, MSCI, Ecovadis).
- Track, coordinate and develop responses to questionnaires and surveys requested by key partners including current and prospective customers, suppliers and investors.
- Monitor evolving landscape of sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g. IFRS/ISSB, TCFD, SASB).
- Serve as a subject matter expert for sustainability metrics and reporting.
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in a quantitative and analytical role at a large, publicly traded company.
- Strong attention to detail paramount.
- Project management, collaboration and organizational skills with strong ability to take initiative and see projects to completion.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills – to both technical and non-technical audiences – and interpersonal skills with emphasis on building strong, long-term relationships across departments.
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new frameworks and tools.
- Prior experience with Sphera and Workiva reporting platforms is a plus.
- Prior experience with ESG reporting frameworks is a plus.
- Prior experience in responding to ESG rating and ranking agencies such as CDP, EcoVadis, MSCI, ISS, Sustainalytics, S&P Global / DJSI is a plus.
