About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle inbound call/chat volume, taking between 40-50 inbound customer calls/chats per 8-hour workday
- Complete all Brand Sales Trainings (BST) each month
- Meet 85% schedule adherence to assigned schedule as referenced in Genesys phone system
- Maintain excellent customer service standards through call quality, problem solving, and ownership over any customer issue
- Maintain customer records by logging and retaining correct and precise information in Salesforce.com
- Proactively identify and report website, process, product page, or post‑call issues encountered during daily workflow
- Work with a team of 15-20 other sales associates
- Success will be measured through call quality and profit dollars generated monthly
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1–2 years of prior sales, retail, or customer service experience, or at least 3 months in a Ferguson Home Digital Customer Service job profile
- Be highly detail oriented and have superior interpersonal skills
- Proven experience using critical thinking tools to solve customer issues
- Self-motivated, great teammate, and fast learner
- Systematic and adaptable approach
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office and Google Office suites
- Ability to type 40+ WPM for phone and 45+ WPM for chat
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable and consistent internet connection
