About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle inbound call/chat volume, taking between 40-50 inbound customer calls/chats per 8-hour workday
  • Complete all Brand Sales Trainings (BST) each month
  • Meet 85% schedule adherence to assigned schedule as referenced in Genesys phone system
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards through call quality, problem solving, and ownership over any customer issue
  • Maintain customer records by logging and retaining correct and precise information in Salesforce.com
  • Proactively identify and report website, process, product page, or post‑call issues encountered during daily workflow
  • Work with a team of 15-20 other sales associates
  • Success will be measured through call quality and profit dollars generated monthly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of prior sales, retail, or customer service experience, or at least 3 months in a Ferguson Home Digital Customer Service job profile
  • Be highly detail oriented and have superior interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience using critical thinking tools to solve customer issues
  • Self-motivated, great teammate, and fast learner
  • Systematic and adaptable approach
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office and Google Office suites
  • Ability to type 40+ WPM for phone and 45+ WPM for chat
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Reliable and consistent internet connection
