About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • research and analyze business opportunities
  • advise the planning and preparation of business proposals
  • work closely with District Directors to map out opportunities
  • partner with local sales representatives and branch management
  • lead all aspects of key projects and be accountable for successful closure of business deals
  • responsible for overall development, implementation, and progress of strategic business targets
  • prepare documents and materials for meetings and negotiations
  • forecast assigned brand shipments on a quarterly basis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of fluid sealing experience
  • 3+ years of Business Development Management experience preferred
  • industrial sales experience preferred
  • experience working with industrial customers within Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Oil & Gas, and Power Generation markets
  • strong sales background; industrial experience preferred
  • problem-solving skills
  • product and vendor knowledge required (or ability to quickly learn)
  • valid driver’s license required
  • role requires 50% travel
