About the role
- Provide leadership for the organization's customer-facing associates and branch functions.
- Support outside sales and showroom consultants to help secure new business.
- Manage vendor relations regarding pricing and products.
- Lead appliance install techs, delivery, and installation coordinator associates.
- Consult with associates and customers at job sites.
- Perform quality checks on the installation work to ensure accurate installation practices are used.
- Verify that all paperwork and documentation related to the installation is completed and accurate.
- Manage installation related issues and provide solutions.
- Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet timelines.
- Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel.
- Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies and guidelines to the management team.
- Conduct regular associate meetings.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience preferred with duties in routing, scheduling, or appliance installation or 3 years installing appliances as a lead.
- Demonstrated experience using standard hand tools, electric tools and motorized and/or manual lifting devices
- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices
- Excellent customer service skills a must
- Attention to detail, shown integrity and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required.
