About the role
- Leads the labor management program, including labor standards, LMS administration and configuration, incentive programs, associate best methods, and operational best practices.
- Oversees LMS configuration, testing, and implementation in new distribution centers.
- Drives continuous improvement of the labor management program and associated management systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Establishes, maintains, and prioritizes the LMS enhancement roadmap.
- Facilitates annual activity-based budgeting process and incentive targets.
- Identifies and implements operational enhancements to systems and processes to improve functionality and efficiency.
- Manages the Labor Management Program Center of Excellence, ensuring best practices are developed, maintained, and sustained.
- Develops LMS documentation, provides training and education for operational leadership.
- Oversee the technical and professional development of data analysts for LMS.
- Collaborates with Area IEs and local DC management to identify operational inefficiencies and lead network-wide productivity improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Analysis, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in labor standards and using labor management systems (LMS) within a distribution center environment.
- Engineered Standards experience is a plus.
- Managerial experience in a distribution center, supervising staff and managing technical systems such as LMS.
- Experience implementing labor management systems and incentive programs.
- Proven ability to manage projects and collaborate across functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Super-user expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and understanding of WMS/LMS integration.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and solution development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data and operational insights into clear written and verbal recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, build consensus, and drive continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in a team environment with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
