About the role
- Collaborating with peers and working directly with clients to design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize VDI and end-user computing environments
- Deploy endpoint protection technologies and safeguard client identity systems
- Participate in developing and expanding service delivery standards and best practices
- Work closely with Engineering, Sales, and Project Management teams to achieve infrastructure and security service goals
- Define project scope, validate requirements, manage deployments, and enforce change control procedures to meet budget and timelines
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company products and services
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned technologies
- Obtain and maintain relevant vendor certifications and technical proficiency in implemented solutions
- Provide knowledge transfer and solution education to clients
- Collaborate with clients, partners, and vendors to ensure secure and successful solution deployments
Requirements
- Strong experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies: VMware vSphere, ESXi, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops; Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD); Horizon; Hyper-V
- Knowledge of endpoint protection technologies and identity security systems
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and profile management solutions
- Experience with application packaging and delivery (App-V, MSIX, Citrix App Layering)
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Client or Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
- Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
- ITIL Foundation Certification
