About the role
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Generate and maintain reports on key sales metrics, including sales revenue, conversion rates, and other KPIs
- Identify and implement improvements in sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales tools and technologies to support the sales team
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and support strategic initiatives
- Provide training and support to the sales team on processes, tools, and best practices
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, data analysis, or a related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of CRM/ERP systems and sales software
- Programming knowledge is a huge plus
- Salesforce experience helpful
- Preferred: Experience in the fencing, building material, or distribution industries
- Preferred: Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant certifications
