About the role
- Oversee the execution and volunteer management of our Hunger Projects
- Emcee the events and engage with volunteers and clients
- Manage event logistics and ensure successful interactions
- Load and unload trucks and shipments at events
- Ensure food safety guidelines are adhered to
- Communicate with Meal Distribution partners and maintain paperwork
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in event management, operations, or a client-engaging role
- Extremely attentive to detail, accurate, and thorough in all communication
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
- Comfortable and confident speaking in front of a crowd
- Enthusiastic, strong interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large groups of people
- Must have a valid driver’s license in order to transport product in a sprinter van
- Must be available to travel (up to 75% of time)
