About the role

Responsible for enhancing Federato's flagship Underwriting Platform
Own the roadmap of the underwriting platform and actively seek opportunities to expand capabilities
Effectively communicate the value proposition of the product portfolio
Develop a deep understanding of the insurance market
Collaborate on user research activities to understand user needs
Lead product discovery efforts to identify and validate user problems and needs
Define and track key product metrics to measure success
Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success
Define and champion the product vision and strategy for the product

Proven track record of delivering successful SaaS products to market, preferably in B2B settings
Experience with AI-powered solutions is a plus
Broad business acumen across industries and business models
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of software development methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
BA/BS degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field is required
MBA and experience working in the insurance or financial industry are pluses
Ability to travel to East Coast roughly 30% of the time or based on product spike timing
