Loan Review Analyst, Bilingual

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leverage your expertise in credit analysis and lending practices to support thorough, objective loan reviews that help manage risk and ensure sound decision-making
- Conduct detailed file and loan assessments to ensure consistency with established policies, procedures, and risk guidelines
- Evaluate the accuracy and integrity of information, identify opportunities for improvement, and help strengthen lending practices
- Conduct file reviews and loan assessments to evaluate credit risk and adherence to policies
- Assess the quality, accuracy and integrity of information to support sound credit decision-making
- Develop conclusions and recommendations and share findings with senior leaders
- Identify opportunities to enhance credit policy guidelines and processes
- Collaborate with business units such as Credit Risk Management, Credit Policy, Portfolio Management and Operations
- Respond to inquiries and provide information related to loan review activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in agricultural finance, business, commerce or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of lending experience, including small commercial lending or equivalent
- Knowledge of agricultural and commercial lending practices and risk mitigation strategies
- Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive and confidential information
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a changing environment
- Working knowledge of software applications and computer proficiency
- Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in both official languages (English and French) needed
