About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take ownership of the operational health, security, and ongoing improvement of FCC’s SAP platform
  • Manage the system lifecycle, oversee transport governance, administer SAP security and maintain platform stability
  • Act as the lead SAP Basis administrator, providing technical leadership on system operations, platform stability, and lifecycle management
  • Own SAP security administration, including role and authorization management, user provisioning, audit support, and integration with Microsoft Entra ID and SAP Cloud Identity Services (CIS)
  • Manage and govern SAP transport workflows across production and non-production landscapes
  • Administer and advance SAP Cloud ALM as FCC’s central lifecycle and operations platform, including pipeline automation and monitoring
  • Support deployment and operational readiness for SAP CAP-based applications and services
  • Integrate SAP delivery into SDLC standards, contributing to pipeline design, traceability, and governance
  • Continuously improve automation, scripting, and operational tooling to reduce manual effort and deployment risk across SAP environments
  • Extend into cross-cutting platform concerns such as centralized logging, API management, and observability where SAP Basis expertise provides a strong foundation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in SAP Basis administration across enterprise SAP landscapes
  • Strong knowledge of SAP security administration, including role and authorization management, user provisioning, segregation of duties concepts, and audit/compliance support
  • Deep understanding of SAP transport management, system lifecycle governance, and change control
  • Experience administering SAP S/4HANA in cloud-hosted or managed environments
  • Working knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including subaccount administration, service configuration, security, and transport context
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM for lifecycle management, monitoring, and operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and SAP Cloud Identity Services (CIS) in the context of SSO, authentication, and authorization
  • Working knowledge in SAP system refresh procedures and upgrade cadences
  • SAP Fiori Administration experience
  • Experience with SAP & HANA performance monitoring and tuning
