About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead full-cycle recruitment and provide subject matter expertise to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and align hiring strategies to meet current and future needs, building proactive talent pipelines using data, sourcing, and networking
- Leverage technology and tools to balance speed, efficiency, and an exceptional manager and candidate experience
- Identify opportunities to improve the recruitment process, enhancing efficiency and quality without compromising the manager or candidate experience
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with employment law, Official Languages and Human Rights legislation
- Leverage recruitment metrics and insights to drive continuous improvement and hiring effectiveness
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment partners and talent networks
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least four years of recruiting experience
- Strong judgment and proven ability in candidate assessment and selection
- Experience developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external partners
- Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of HR programs, policies, and recruitment best practices
- Familiarity with digital platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft 365)
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) and proven ability in oral and written communication.
