About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review, analyze, and determine subrogation potential on assigned files for the timely and effective disposition of a variety of referred recovery claims.
- Assist in claim administration for timely recovery of loss payments from responsible and contributing parties under contractual and legal subrogation rights.
- Perform or assist with arbitration duties as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates degree or equivalent work experience, (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- All Lines Adjusting license in Florida (must be eligible for multi-line, multi-state licenses as needed.)
- Two years of commercial lines adjusting experience which has led to strong technical skills in recovery operations.
- Working knowledge of state laws, insurance coverage, policy interpretation, exposure recognition, and liability determination for all levels of the recovery claim.
- Working knowledge of subrogation techniques, including intercompany arbitration procedures.
- Understanding of Property and Casualty laws, liens, rules, case law and regulations.
- Understanding of Workers Compensation laws, casualty claim procedures, rules and systems and trust fund rules and regulations
- Good working knowledge of claim file management techniques and processes
