Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and provide direction and guidance to adjusters and leaders
Monitor workloads, quality, and deadlines of team
Ensure timely and effective handling of assigned claims
Identify potential volume or workflow issues and implement changes
Conduct claim quality file reviews and create improvement plans
Investigate and resolve claimant, policyholder and agent inquiries and complaints

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of eight years relevant commercial claims experience AND
Minimum three years in a leadership role.
Applicable Adjuster’s license.
Advanced working knowledge of the laws based in torts, statutes, and contracts.
Advanced working knowledge of Inter-company arbitration procedures.
Advanced working knowledge of judicial and legal systems.
Solid working knowledge of claims management techniques, processes and fiscal systems.
Excellent communication, prioritization, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decision-making.
Ability to interpret and explain insurance policies and coverages.
AIC, ACLS or ACLA designation or equivalent coursework or experience.
