About the role
- Learn to process all lines of commercial property and casualty business
- Process Farm lines, a combination of personal and commercial business, within an assigned territory
- Training includes quoting, issuing new and renewal policies, amending existing policies, cancellations, endorsements and evaluating policy files
- Provide technical assistance to the underwriters
- Assist agents in their efforts to write business
Requirements
- Knowledge of lines or coverages, rating rules and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with virtual conferencing technology (MS Teams, Zoom, etc)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong commitment to customer service
- The ability to learn through self-study, in addition to formal training
- The ability to work independently
