About the role
- Write and edit copy for websites, social media, email and print pieces.
- Ensures all content is delivered on time and aligns with brand voice, tone and style guidelines.
- Collaborates with Corporate Communications team and key stakeholders to develop compelling content.
- Utilizes technology to schedule and release email and social media communications.
- Generates reports on communications analytics.
- Proofreads and edits content for accuracy and based on feedback from the review process.
- Builds and segments distribution lists for email campaigns.
- Assists with the development of annual communications calendars.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field.
- Minimum of two years of professional writing experience with a strong background in writing skills.
- Solid knowledge of the English language, grammar, journalism and AP reporting techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of marketing/advertising and public relation principles.
- Strong working knowledge of the organization and its public image philosophy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decision-making.
- Proficiency with social media and email management tools.
