About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and support trading applications for investment products
Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable solutions
Ensure continuity, efficiency, quality, high performance, and a good end-user experience
Proactively monitor application and integration performance and availability
Document processes and share best practices with the team
Perform analyses and assist in creation and development processes
Provide support to ensure infrastructure availability and performance
Conceptualize, specify, manage, and implement improvements and maintenance for high-availability web systems
Identify IT solutions that add business value, reduce costs, and increase stability in transactional environments
Identify and resolve issues in collaboration with the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
Experience with Java, Node.js, Spring Boot, REST API integrations, and Oracle Database
Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar)
Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, and Monday.com
Experience with microservices architecture
Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with observability, performance, and scalability
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Agility and organizational skills
Investigative mindset, ownership mentality, and proactivity
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Availability to work on-site at the Faria Lima office in São Paulo
Advantages (nice-to-haves): experience in the financial markets, investments, or banking; knowledge of AWS, DataDog, Redash, Kubernetes, Docker, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and AI-driven automation
