About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work directly on revenue recognition processes, posting and billing.
- Ensure reconciliation between operations, billing and recognized revenue.
- Perform monthly closing of the income statement (DRE) and balance sheet in coordination with Accounting.
- Execute cost, margin and profitability analyses of the business.
- Identify inconsistencies in current processes, proposing and implementing improvements.
- Work in partnership with Commercial, Operations, Finance and Accounting teams to ensure correct capture of billing events.
- Participate actively in external audits and support the preparation of financial information.
- Develop KPIs, controls and dashboards to monitor financial performance.
- Establish policies, routines and internal controls for the Controllership area.
- Progress into leadership of the Controllership team, supporting people development and process maturity.
Requirements

- Solid experience in Controllership, with practical involvement in revenue recognition, billing and financial closing.
- Experience with monthly closing of the income statement (DRE), balance sheet and cost analyses.
- Experience interfacing between business areas, operations, commercial and finance teams.
- Active participation in external audits.
- Experience in mid-sized companies with established structures and processes.
- Experience in restructuring, turnaround or post-M&A integration environments is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, with the ability to discuss CPC and IFRS topics with Accounting.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Knowledge of SQL or VBA is a plus.
- Experience with ERPs such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, TOTVS/Protheus or similar.
- Familiarity with AI tools applied to financial routines is a plus.
